Who am I?
In the past I worked as a creative director, artist and graphic designer in branding and visual communication.
What did I do?
Our intention is to affirm this life, not to bring order out of chaos nor to suggest improvement in creation, but simply to wake up to the very life we’re living, which is so excellent once one gets one’s mind and one’s desires out of its way and lets it act of its own accord. (Cage, 1967, p.95)
Coming from a design background, I was curious about exploring what design changes in a multi-disciplinary environment. Driven by curiosity I followed the glaring road, translating design practices into management; fortunately, there is more to conquer than a new selling proposition for design.
The role of the designer, now and in the future, might be a person working between discourses as a translator of concepts and ideas. A curious wanderer between analysis and creativity, their technical and intellectual agility ignites colleagues to trust their creative intuition.
My skills and abilities?
Thinking without doing is not enough. I am a traveller between various techniques and mind-sets. By doing so, my design abilities contribute beyond design’s aesthetical and commercial capacities.
