Where have I been?

I received a B Sc. in Psychology from the University of Toronto and then worked in publishing – from assistant editing career guides for the banking sector to writing about indie bands and fashion shows.

I started working at VICE magazine in 2009 where my duties included account management for their creative agency and online marketing campaigns, in addition to editorial contributions for the website and photo blog.

More recently I have worked as a freelance ethnographer.

Why MA Innovation Management?

I wanted to develop my career by drawing on my past experiences in psychology, youth marketing, writing and photography.

Where am I going?

Human Centered Design Research, including ethnography and usability testing, have been the focus of my current research. In my dissertation I plan to further explore this field and glean insights into how it affects design strategy and innovation within companies.
